Praying For Repentance Let us take God's message of repentance and return to heart and seek God's mercy for America. (Joel 2:15-17). 1. We confess that your people have been called to heal the land by humbling themselves, praying, seeking God's face, and repenting, (2 Chronicles 7:14), but have failed to do so. 2. We confess that your people have been called to be watchmen on the wall to warn of judgement from sin, (Ezekiel 33: 19), but have failed to do so. 3. We confess that false prophets have led many astray and have committed adultery, lived a lie, and strengthened the hand of evildoers, so that the people do not turn from their wicked ways.
(Jeremiah 23:14). 4. We confess that your people have not come together in unity as Jesus prayed, and have caused the world not to believe the Gospel. (John 17:20-23). 5. We confess, as the people of Jerusalem did in Zechariah 1:6, that the judgement of the Lord is 6. We will humble ourselves, pray, seek God's face, and repent for ourselves and the nation.Apostle C
